Siculo-Punic. AR Tetradrachm (24-26 mm, 17.01 g), c. 340-330 BC. Obv. Wreathed head of Tanit-Persephone right, wearing triple-pendant earring and necklace; three doplhins around, symbol of Tanit behind. Rev. Horse standing right before palm tree, kerykeion before. Jenkins 89 (O31/R80); SNG Lloyd 1619 (same dies); Gulbenkian 368 (same dies).
Magnificent style. Gently toned and superb extremely fine.
