Maximus (235-238 AD). AE Sestertius (30-31 mm, 21.41 g), Roma (Rome). Obv. MAXIMVS CAES GERM, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind. Rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS / S - C, Maximus as Prince of the Youth standing left, holding baton in right and transverse spear in left; behind, two standards. RIC IV, 2, p. 156, 13.
