Parthamaspates was the puppet king set up by Traianus after his brief conquest of Mesopotamia in 116 AD. After the Roman retreat in the same year, he was quickly defeated and exiled by Osroes. The Romans consequently granted him the co-rule of Osroene, a small Syrian slient state, which he continued to rule for a couple of years.
