eAuction #19, Lot 90. Estimate: CHF 600.00
Honorius (393-423 AD) and Arcadius (383-408 AD) (?). AE square weight of one Uncia (25 x 25 mm, 26.12 g). Obv. Two emperors standing facing on left and right, holding spear and putting their hands on two globes held by female figure (Roma?) standing in the middle; below, ΓA. Rev. Blank. Cf. Bendall 53 (same type but 6 Unciae and no silver inlays, attributed to Arcadius and Honorius).
Very rare. Hard green patina. Very fine. The heads, vambraces, platelegs and ΓA with silver inlays.
