Rev. HERC COMMODIANO TR P XVI / COS VI, Hercules standing left, sacrificing over altar and holding cornucopiae; to left, tree on which hangs lion-skin.

Extremely rare type, apparently the first to appear in an auction for a decade, the previous in NAC sale N (2003), 2073. Minor scuffs, otherwise nearly very fine.
