Obv.
Head of Demeter right, hair wreathed with three leaves of wheat, wearing
necklace and earring.
Rev. Ajax, holding sword and shield decorated
with griffin, advancing right on ground line; below, a spear pointing down to
left; to left, OΠONTIΩN.
Corpus Group 21, 148i; SNG Lockett 1693 (same
dies).
Good very fine, high relief and excellent style.
Minor cleaning scratches on reverse.
