Obv. Head of Demeter right, hair wreathed with three leaves of wheat, wearing necklace and earring.
Rev. Ajax, holding sword and shield decorated with griffin, advancing right on ground line; below, a spear pointing down to left; to left, OΠONTIΩN.
BCD 457.2 (this coin); Corpus Group 21, 157a; BMC 28, pl. I, 9.
High relief and excellent style. Faint scratch on obverse and minor flan fault on reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
