Dynasts of Lycia. Perikles (c. 380-360 BC). AR Stater (25 mm, 9.74 g), Antipellos mint. Obv. Laureate head of Perikles facing slightly left, drapery around neck; on right, dolphin downward. Rev. Nude warrior, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, in fighting attitude right, holding sword aloft in right hand and shield on left arm; to left, triskeles; "Perikle" to left and "Antiphellos" to right in Lycian letters; all within shallow incuse square. SNG Aulock 4251; Mildenberg, Mithrapata 20.
Obverse die rust and worn reverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
