Ptolemaic Kings of Egypt. Cleopatra III with sons Ptolemy IX Soter and Ptolemy X Alexander (c. 116 - 80 BC). AE Triobol (29-30 mm, 13.66 g).
Obv. Head of Zeus-Ammon wearing tainia right.
Rev. ΠTOΛEMAIOΥ BAΣIΛEΩΣ, two eagles standing left on thunderbolts, side by side; palm-branch in left field.

Very rare. Black patina, good fine.

The two eagles symbolize the two rulers, Cleopatra III and her son, either Ptolemy IX or X.
