Kings of Macedon. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR Tetradrachm (27 mm, 16.78 g), Corinth, c. 310-290 BC. Obv. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated left with eagle and sceptre; to left, aphlastron; below throne, ΔE. Price 685.
Light golden toning. Minor roughness, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
