Aegium, Achaia. Lot of two AE Assaria from Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius.

1. Antoninus Pius (138-161 AD). 20 mm, 6.27 g. Eileithuia standing facing, head to left, holding two torches (one upward and one downward). RPC online temp. 8089 (2 specimens).

2. Marcus Aurelius (161-180 AD). 19 mm, 6.47 g. Artemis standing facing, resting left arm on column, holding torch and bow; dog seated right at feet, looking back. Kroll 31.1. RPC online temp. 8101.

Both very rare. Fine. (2)
