eAuction #34, Lot 109. Estimate: CHF 75.00
Postumus (260-269 AD). AR Antoninianus (22 mm, 6.71 g) (!), Colonia Agrippinensis (Cologne), c. 260 AD. Obv. IMP C POSTVMVS P F AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm; captive at feet. RIC V, 89; AGK 97c.
Very fine.
The folded edge shows that this coin has been mistakenly struck on two combined flans, resulting in its unusually heavy weight.
