Celtic Gaul. Caletes. EL 1/4 Stater (12 mm, 1.52 g), 2nd century BC. Obv. Celticized male head with curly hair to
right. Rev. Boar standing right on horse standing right; before, bird
standing left; below horse, ornament; punctate background. DT 99B; LT -;
SLM -.
Of the highest rarity, possibly the second known example. A
lovely piece with a very interesting reverse composition. Very fine.
