Kings of Macedon. Alexander III ‘the Great’ (336-323 BC). AR Hemiobol
(8 mm, 0.57 g), 'Babylon', c. 317-311. Obv. Head of Herakles
to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. Club and quiver; to left,
monogram in wreath; to right, uncertain symbol. Price 3706, 3729, 3739
or 3744. Very rare and unusually attractive. The reverse struck somewhat
off center, otherwise, good very fine.
