Estimates sheet and prices realized list. Bordeaux illustrated card covers,
bent at corner, dealer’s sticker. Interior Very Good.
A note from BCD: It would be impossible to single out just one or two
Greek or Roman coins as the star pieces in this auction. Personally I counted
twelve Greek and five Roman that could easily be cover coins on any prestigious
ancient coin auction catalogue in today’s market. This must be one of the
finest achievements of the company that was to die an ignominious death just a
few years later.
