Catalogue No. 231. The Mr. J.C.P.E. Menso Collection of Foreign Coins. A very
fine consignment of Greek and Roman coins. 3913 lots, 43 plates. Prices
realized list. Illustrated card covers as issued, worn. Interior Very Good.
A note from BCD: There are nearly four plates occupied by what is
called a “Choice Selection of Greek Coins”. The best Roman material is pictured
on another plate. A numismatic library is offered towards the end of the sale
where a complete set of the 29 BMC original Greek volumes hammered at 3700
Dutch Guilders on an estimate of 3000.
