A note from BCD: Sternberg never wrote his catalogues by himself, he had experts working for him. Here, Dr. Wendelin Kellner describes the coins and writes the notes that come after various interesting or important items. There are also some Roman Provincials amongst the Roman and a nice group of Byzantine at the end but the collection of Trier coins stands out for its interest and comprehensiveness. Three colour plates and four black and white enlargement plates complete the catalogue.
