Valerianus I (253-260 AD). AE31 (13.52 g), Hierapolis, Phrygia. Homonoia-issue with Ephesos. Obv. A K Π Λ OV-AΛEΡIANOC, laureate and cuirassed bust to right, wearing aegis. Rev. IEPAΠOΛEITΩN K EΦECION NE/OKOΡΩN / OMONOIA, Serapis of Hierapolis standing to right, holding scepter and wearing kalathos, and cult-statue of Artemis Ephesia en face, flanked by stags. Franke/Nollé, Homonoia, 734 var. (obverse legend). Lanz 160 (2015), 510 (same dies).
