A note from BCD: The Greek coins are more numerous than the Roman in this catalogue with
some nice pieces in both categories. Lots 38 and 39 show the same photograph in
error, an Athenian tetradrachm. More than one hundred numismatic reference
books and some important sales catalogues are listed at the end and the two
colour plates, one mostly with ancients, are of excellent quality.
