Indo-Scythian Kings. Azes I.-II. (c. 57-12 BC). AR Tetradrachm (25 mm, 9.78 g). Obv. BAΣIΛEΩΣ BAΣIΛEΩN MEΓAΛOΥ / AZOΥ, King on horseback right, holding spear. Rev. Legend in Karoshti, Zeus Keraunophoros standing slightly left, holding sceptre and thunderbolt; two monograms in fields. Mitchiner 750.
Darkly toned. Extremely fine.
