Kings of Macedon. Philip III Arrhidaios (323-317 BC). AR Tetradrachm
(27-28 mm, 17.08 g), Sidon, struck under Laomedon, dated RY
15 of Abdalonymos = 319/8 BC. Obv. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion
skin headdress. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY, Zeus seated left on low throne,
holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with
closed wings in his right; to left, O (date); below throne, ΣI. Price P175.
Boldly struck and attractive. Minor marks, otherwise, about extremely fine.
